Task 1: From the different location that you have researched from the locations you are able to see a difference to all of the locations that are used in the recording:The microphones that we used to record was a SM58 microphones, C1000's microphone and Rode NT2. Microphone and we recorded these through a XLR cable we used all of that to record a acoustic guitar. We pointed the microphones near the sound hole on the guitar. With the three microphones they have polar patterns such as cardioid which means that it is more sensitive on the front and on the sides. With the cardioid it will not pickup sound from the back. The reason why it is called a cardioid because the way the pattern looks makes it look like a upside down heart.

With the recording in the outside you could hear a bird. This is proof that it was outside but we could have gone into a less populated area. If we edited the bird out it would have been most of the sample gone so we it was a good thing to keep it in.
With the mono recording the guitar was too loud so while we edited it so then it wasn't too loud and people started to talk so we needed to edit it out.
The rode NT2-A is the best one for recording because it sounds the best anywhere you can go. While using the cardioid polar pattern makes the microphone cut out any the sounds that were behind it.
C1000's were the best for recording a instrument because it is the cleanst sounding for the guitar. It can sometimes get a bit ruffled if someone disides to speak it is not the best for that, but for what it does for recording instruments it is a good microphone.
The SM58 microphone is better for recording audio not any instruments but from its counter part the C1000 this microphone prevails in recording vocals. While we were recording audio you would often find that the instrument was sometimes muffled.
Other recordings were in the recording studio there was no sound of outside and you could only hear the person playing. Majority of the recording we were using the C1000 because it was the best for recording instruments which is a good point. Only when we got to the Cymabls and Tambourine we thought that it would be better if we used two other microphones to tell a difference in the sound.
